In all the excitement of the three massive cairns, this feature is easy to overlook. It’s a semi-circular bank of rubble enclosing an outcrop, looking very like a tor cairn or ring cairn of the sort found on Bodmin Moor.

Just checked trainline for tomorrow, 13.5 hrs to Fishguard and then I guess a bus. Might be dark when I get there but it's tempting, I can dream!! What a great site. I knew straight away before looking on the map, it was going to be some out of the way place. Great site of photos, one for the list (I'd love to catch the ferry over to Rosslare from here as well one day).
What are you waiting for?
It's been a long time coming for me, was delighted to finally get up here, and in such good weather too. We stayed in Cardigan, so this was an early bus to Crymych then a walk to Newport (17.5 miles) between bus stops :)
That's some walk! Epic really. Just traced it on the map. Well done you.
I need to retire, rob a bank and get travelling.
I could hardly walk by the time I got to Newport! Quite a few hills on the route.
Yes, me too. One final job, that's what we need to do. What could possibly go wrong?
The pub might be shut, looks a great site / area - noted :-)
