Enjoyed all you photos from this part of the world and particularly pleased to see so much survived the coal industry down there and now looking like great walking territory, a rich history indeed.
Thank you, once you get above the industrial blight there are some very beautiful views, plenty of archaeology, and very decent walking on the ridges. I didn't see a soul on this ridge over a few hours.
