That IMO is one of the best backdrops for a relatively low-lying cairn I've seen. Jaw-dropping beauty. I am not a prisoner!! Love the way the estuary is wonky when the image is obviously level.
I agree, it's a peach of a backdrop. The first time I came with Chris it was hidden under low cloud, so I didn't really get the view (I remembered your photos). We were very lucky on this walk, from Talsarnau up to Bryn Cader Faner then down to Harlech via these sites. Ha, yes, I do like Portmeirion, even if it's bonkers - I knew it from a Tom Baker Doctor Who before I ever saw the Prisoner. Yep, it's the estuary not me, honest!
