Hope you had a good New Year Drew. What's the trees like up Turriff way and on your recent travels? Tyrebagger, Bennachie etc round here are a nightmare. Just been to Dundee for 3 days walking in the Sidlaw Hills, it's rubbish down there too. So sad to see so many lovely old trees down from the storm. Access is doing to be a problem for a lot of places.
Fairly quiet, few drams, hope the year has started well for you :-) The Delerium Trees are fine :-) Was down to Dundee also (I love the Sidlaws), north, lot of trees down, nearer Kingoldrum and Glenisla also bad + flooding (Kinclune Forest almost wiped out, I know quite a lot of the people there, all have experienced damage), not so bad on the coast near Portgordon to Spey Bay (sadly Hill Of Maud/Rinnes had all its tracks covered in fallen trees on Xmas Day so made do with a coastal walk), up near Ord Distillery, Muir of Ord, another forest obliterated, forestry people were busy there working under floodlights when I got down from Cnoc Udais. Around Turriff - Fyvie, Haddo, Forglen, Delgaty, Forgue - it will take years to sort but work has started. Turriff itself seemed to escape the worst being on the side of the hill, however down in The Den/Haughs had a lot of trees down.
Nice one Drew. I like the look of this site. Proper middle of nowhere feeling from your photos.
Great site T, as you know a great area as well. A cairn is fairly short distance from it as well :-)

Wow, that sounds pretty bad! I hope all those sites in trees like Loudon Wood etc are OK. It's going to take months for car parks and paths to reopen.
Glad the Delerium Trees made it through the storm :-)
The Trees had their Storms On the Moon, pun intended :-)
