Certainly the quietest part of The Brecon Beacons in my experience. I started near the waterworks entrance below the Pontsticill Reservoir... I aim to go back at some point and have a look across the valley, too.

This was the same area, if of interest costa. Doesn't seem like 10 years ago though.
