Moylehid

Ring Cairn

Moylehid (Ring Cairn) by ryaner Distorted pano looking south-east over this fairly magical ring-cairn. Access up here was a killer, but this was worth it.

Wonderful site, don't know if I'm doing something wrong, however, seems to be located somewhere of the Welsh coast! Posted by costaexpress

Thanks gents. Costa, the Irish OS grid reference is correct but the latitude/longitude is possibly/probably way out. I navigate with the Irish OS grid ref but have yet to find a good lat/long converter. Any help would be great but it must be able to convert from the Irish OS grid ref specifically, not the UK OS. Very Brexity dilemma for me methinks. ryaner Posted by ryaner

OK so, I tried that thelonius and edited the lat/long on the site page. I can’t check if it worked, maybe you or costaexpress can. It changed the Irish OS grid ref. to a GB one after my editing. ryaner Posted by ryaner

Is it H 15100 41540
and
54.32249 -7.76866

Right click on bing maps gives you lat long coordinates as well.

Thelonious, that second link in your last comment drops you right on top of it. I’m struggling with this as I’m trying to do it on my phone. Thanks for your help and I’ll check back on the computer when I’m back home. Good to see your Drombeg stuff and much respect for your efforts on public transport. ryaner Posted by ryaner

I was going to ask Boris to sort it out when he pops over today, however, looks like you and thelonious have it under control thank goodness, saves another diplomatic cock up. Posted by costaexpress
