As mentioned before, enjoying your travels, would help if Germany allowed Google street view, always trying to work out where there is room to park my van!
Do you have a Gamin GPS device? I could send you all these sites along with the parking spaces I used (not a van, but a SUV ;-) ) as waypoints, if that would be helpful for you.
