You beat me to this, Moss (hi : ) )...so much to see on the ground. Repeated fieldwalks needed, heather being burnt, things exposed. This part of the North York Moors is so rich in sites but it seems very few have followed in Fitz's footsteps. spencer Posted by spencer

Hi, Sorry, it is an exciting place so I was thrilled to see it on TMA. There is The Street Neolithic barrow nearby as well but I don't think there is much to see, but a Saxon burial ground was also excavated as well that mentions the barrow.
