Love this. Did this five years back with my late brother. We covered a LOT of Galloway over the years. I dont think I'll get back this particular way again. Lovely to see the ould fella in your photos and know that someone has been calling in on him!
Thought I was glancing sideways into a mirror! Love this part of the world, not been here though.
Its a real slog to get there but worth it! Maybe more of a spring/summer walk for the ground conditions and the hours of daylight.
Think I might do that slog :-)
