Information board text:

An 80m long and 6.5m wide mound, enclosed by originally 108 boulders and dry stone walling. A five capstone large stone chamber with an entrance in the southwest long side. The burials of the Funnelbeaker culture on the field pavement of fieldstones was largely cleared away to make room for burials by the subsequent Globular Amphora culture. After filling the sand layers in later phases of the Neolithic period more burials with battle axes, hatchets, flint knives and cups as gifts were made in the burial chamber.
