That's a beautifully constructed photo, extremely evocative. I've just been reading about Alfred The Great and the climactic battle of Edington believed to have taken place where the White Horse now stands so this picture is particularly resonant.
Thanks Ironstone. There is a plaque and stone up by the camp at the top of the hill commemorating the battle.
Brave as well, that road is full of maniacs. It is a very nice image.
