Shocked is the only word I can use, to find such a magnificent dolmen here in Dorset, why isn’t it better known, visited more often, discussed more widely. Looking at the number of posts I guess it is, just me lagging behind

Looks like you pretty much did the same visits as my trip at the start of the year. I think I had the better of Hampton Down though.
Just looked at your photos, so that's what Hampton Down looks like! Pleased to see it must be treated to a clear up every so often
I liked it, the Hellstone was my favourite that day though (the path between here and Black Down was appallingly liquid mud mind you).
