Looks lovely and green this time of year from your photos
We were off to look for a campsite soon after this one, a large part of me wanted to camp here.
Where did you end up camping if you don't mind me asking?
Best site is near Tarland, plus you should have come in past Turriff :-) Glassel and Image are lovely!
We ended up camping in Alford, a bit of a mixed review shortly forthcoming.
Not sure what a Turriff is, if it's any consolation I thought of you whilst I was up there.

A Turra Coo? surely cattle of some kind?
I was in a chip shop once some where up there and she kept asking me the same thing, but I hadn't a clue what she was saying, me kids and the X could tell, but I was clueless, she was asking, salt and vinegar? I had no idea.

I thought it was going to be some kind of sub breed of highland cattle, just been reading about the reasons behind the statue, 7 quid for a cow? I'd get a few.
It is definitely a coW though.
Funny thing when all were getting arrested, in their best suits, the cow did the right thing and escaped :-)
