I still find views of snowy mountains seen from the coast a particular thrill.
Not quite, but I admit it does look like it. There's something about the paleness of The Red Cuillin which makes them just as special as the black. For me. Guess one of them being Beinn na Caillich helps.
Oh wow, so that's not snow! That's some seriously pale geology. I would love to visit Skye properly one day, we've only ever dipped a toe along the road below the Red Cuillin.
