This looks like a place I would like to visit. Am a bit confused though, looked the site up on google and Y Meini Hirion Stone Circle came up. Is Mein Hirion on Anglesey or the other side of the Meini Straits?
I think you'd like it, nice easy access too. Plus public transport is pretty good on Anglesey if you were without a driver.
Y Meini Hirion is the other name for the Druid's Circle above Penmaenmawr, another superb site that you would like very much I think. This one is a three stone setting rather than the remains of a circle - although it kind of reminds me of a Scottish four poster (minus 1).
I love this site, (you did well to keep the Nuclear Power Station out of the shot). Lovely little walk up to it and a commanding position over the surrounding countryside, very atmospheric given there are only 3 stones followed by tea in Cemaes Bay afterwards, perfect afternoon out.
It's a good one, second time I've been, last time was five years ago so overdue a revisit. This was a little extra bonus at the start of the stunningly good Wales Coast Path section between Cemaes and Amlwch.
