Although dishevelled, to my mind this is one of the finest of all stone circles.

I was so close to visiting this last week. Time was a problem and I didn't want to have to rush a visit. Better to leave for another day. It just looks fantastic. Everything I like in a site. Great set of photos Gladman again. Hopefully next year for me.

Yes, definitely. Looking through your photos, my eye is drawn as much to the sky and surrounding landscape as that of the stones themselves. That places like this are with us and can still be visited! Just magic.
