The summit crags of Hookney Tor... according to Pastscape there is an example of perhaps Dartmoor’s most enigmatic monument here... the tor cairn... although the OS map cites ‘tumuli’. Whatever the technical details, the vibe here affirms that this is a place humans have come to in order to ‘feel stuff’ for millennia. I was more than happy to return and be a small part of the ongoing story.
