Mmmm... very nice Michael. By the way, thanks for the inspiration to finally get up Y Ro Wen. Discovered that it is actually the ridge seen upon the far horizon from the campsite I've been going to since I was kid. No wonder I am the way I am.
I saw your photo's from Y Ro Wen and was glad that you thought that it was a genuine cairn as well. Funny that you had been staring up at it all these years. You obviousy have the mountains in your blood !
Several generations of my gt gt Grandparents lived in the valley below (Cwm Penamnen) in the 17 and 1800's
Yeah, I do think you begin to get an 'eye' for these things. Reckoned it looked like a co-joined pair.
