Highlighting the approach from the lakes... for reference. I reckon this hillfort must occupy the most aesthetically pleasingly landscape of all the sites I’ve visited in these Isles to date. Soaring above the Llynnau Cregennen, the defensive value of the position is also all too obvious. Craig-y-Llyn is approx centre skyline.
