
The western cairn is quite low, despite its wonderful cist. The main path running up the western ridge of The Sugarloaf passes close by (and can be seen behind the cairn in shot).

Looks very cold!!
It was pretty cold, but this was off the summit so the wind was about 1000% less impossible than up there, so it felt kind of balmy. And obviously finding this brought a Ready Brek glow anyway.
'Ready Brek glow' - That would come in handy at this time of year!

Met Office is forecasting 13°C for us on Saturday. Now that's what I call balmy :)
