Looking across Cwm Dwr-y-coed from Y Das.... the location of the ‘Platform Cairn’ can be seen to the left of the modern cairn. Y Grib rises beyond, its lower environs featuring a cairn with cist buried in the turf... and the Iron Age hill fort Castell Dinas.
