The monument , if a portal dolmen , is then almost certainly Neolithic .The mysterious /curious copper artefact is extremely unlikely to be contemporaneous and is most likely much later . The copper age / Chalcolithic ,if we accept it's UK prsence , has a maximum window of three hundred years in the UK 2150-2450 BC ,what are the chances that it falls into that period ? Without a date it's just guessing or wishful thinking .Others would argue that even it was dated to the period there is more to the Chalcolithic than the presence of copper artefacts and none are present among the other mentioned finds .
