Looking across the Vale of Ewyas from near the grouse butts upon Graig-ddu in fading evening light to the Offa’s Dyke border ridge. The positions of three of a series of Bronze Age cairns crowning the ridge are approximately indicated; a good way to reach these is to start from Llanthony Priory – seen below, centre right – and ascend the hillside to its left
