Thank you both. It was a fine morning. Like you Les, we headed out early to avoid the rain. Hill was very quiet with only a couple of cars at the visitor centre car park. Hill fort was still in cloud so we watched the sun rise from just below. It was pretty fantastic and a nice way to start the year. A quick cuppa on Oxen Craig and headed back down. The walk back through the woods was interesting to say the least. Trees lying everywhere after the winds last week. Many paths blocked. Very busy with people by the time we got back to the car.
