I regularly fish the Mochrum Park/ Torhousekie beat of the River Bladnoch and more often than not the day ends with a spectacular sky and a weary tramp up to the road, laden with fish and this wee stone row on the skyline.
There is a huge concentration of "stuff" here, equidistant from the river but on the other side of the Bladnoch, there's the Hole Stone and the White Cairn. Other standing stones in the fields too and cairns in the fields by the row.
Great sky, love these.
It was a very good sky, they don't seem to come along very often, and even less often am I somewhere good when it happens.
