Some problems . The alignment of the cove and or causeway (as noted in the Walker paper ) is too far south for the sun to have ever been seen to set c.5000 BP . To consider Chapel Hill " sacred "when it is 35m OD , flat , provides an altitude only 0.7 degree as seen from the henge, with an alignmnent to the side of the hill not the top is stretching the imagination , as is the comparison of the view from the Boheh stone to Croagh Patrick . Where at least the sun takes some time to complete it's roll , further , sun rolls are a common feature whether from man made sites or otherwise but to make matters worse in this case as the sun is actually setting on the side of a low hill at winter solstice ,you will be lucky if it takes more than a minute .In effect you can see (if the hedge gets removed) the sun taking about a minute to set over a low hill from the monument at winter solstice ,no components of the monument are aligned on the event today or 5000 BP .
