Looking in the summer solstice sunrise direction, no show today, serves me right for not being there the day before, on the solstice, couldn’t be helped. Wouldn’t it be interesting if the church spire was a solstice marker ?

Heh, Ah yes the sun was right where it ought to be, as was I, and a bit of cloud, but his mates and they're mates had gatecrashed our little get together.
