The monument in its landscape context between the infant Afon Tawe and the towering mass of Mynydd Du. Note the deep gulley and cascades of the Nant-y-Llyn (outflow of Llyn-y-Fan-Fawr), to the left with associated Bronze Age cairn. The skyline peaks also possess Bronze Age cairns.
