
Looking from Mynydd Mawr.... crowned by the shattered remains of a very large ancient cairn itself. The roundhouse (apparently) lies toward the foot of Trum Y Ddysgl’s steeply sloping grassy northern ridge – at approx 950ft altitude (indicated). What with the bonafide Iron Age enclosure of Gelli Ffrydiau sited across Dyffryn Nantlle, the positioning is perhaps curious?
