Looking across Glenelg Bay from Glenelg under suitably vibey conditions nearing dusk.... the mountain wreathed in a garland of cloud. Nearby Gleann Beag is home to some of the mainland’s finest surviving brochs, not to mention a chambered cairn and rock art... In addition the summer ferry to Kylerhea provides a shortcut to Skye... as well as a touch of, er, ‘romance’ for those habouring nostalgic notions of the ‘45.
