Yeah, I would have thought these were viewed as pretty special.... I would say 'no evidence', just judging by how I feel.... but the largest I've seen does seem to have a specific connection to the siting of the Saith Maen row near Craig-y-Nos. I'll see if I can dig out an old image I came across recently.
Must say the Twr Pen-cyrn cairns look interesting......
I seem to recall one of your shake hole pics a few years ago, maybe that was Saith Maen (which ought to be on my list for this year really). They're kinda scary-looking things, especially filled with snow.
Yes, definitely worth a day up at Twr Pen-cyrn, I think the Mam C would approve too.
