For Rhiannon, one of the enormous shake holes near Eglwys Faen. Wonder what the cairn builders made of these huge entrances into the earth? Looking towards the summit of Twr Pen-cyrn.

Yeah, I would have thought these were viewed as pretty special.... I would say 'no evidence', just judging by how I feel.... but the largest I've seen does seem to have a specific connection to the siting of the Saith Maen row near Craig-y-Nos. I'll see if I can dig out an old image I came across recently.
Must say the Twr Pen-cyrn cairns look interesting......
I seem to recall one of your shake hole pics a few years ago, maybe that was Saith Maen (which ought to be on my list for this year really). They're kinda scary-looking things, especially filled with snow.
Yes, definitely worth a day up at Twr Pen-cyrn, I think the Mam C would approve too.
