I went there way back in 1993. May in fact. A day of wind and incessant rain all day, bouncing off the single track road all the way up the west coast. The sea was roaring in in huge waves, so much so that it was quite intimidating going into the cave, such was the fury of the sea that it made you think that one of the waves would come so much further in as to drown us in the cave. Fab photo.
Wow TE that sounds quite something! it couldn't have been calmer when we were there. I feel like I've missed out! That's the thing about being a tourist isn't it, you get such a snapshot of a place and you never know how it would look in blazing sunshine or snow or in the middle of the night. But it is nice to have been at all.
If only we could be in lots of places at once, and spend all year at every place we love. Imagine every season, and at all times of day and night, in all your favourite places at once, and in all weathers. Now that would be something to ask the Fairy Godmother for! I often feel robbed of time by having to sleep.
The power you feel from the water is amazing isn't it?
Ooh, that's nice!
Hi Rhiannon,

Cheers,
TE.
