Funnily enough I very nearly went here in January, Mr Cane.... run out of time after visits to Horton Camp and Hawkesbury. Looks like it needs to remain on the list, so thank you.
Yes, well worth a visit. They might even have cleared more of the interior by then affording better views all round. If not, the Tyndale Monument (or Nibley Knob as it's referred to by locals) offers fantastic views all the way down the Severn to Bristol and Wales.
Well, you might have noticed I like my ancient enclosures nice n'overgrown anyway....
