I must admit I was at first somewhat perturbed that the muppet tourist beneath me was allowed to try the ‘footprint’ upon the summit of Dunadd for size in his great ‘clod hopper’ boots. Hey, it makes a good snap. Need not have worried, of course... as others have pointed out the current ‘footprint’ is actually an exact mould ‘cap’ airlifted in by the RAF to protect the original. The original’s just below.......
