Assume this means you made Moel Eilio? Hope so.
It does, and didn't see a soul for the whole walk. Pics will follow, inevitably. Unfortunately something in my leg went 'ping' on the way down from Moel Cynghorion, which rather screwed up any chance of getting up Elidir Fawr the next day.
Excellent. A return to Moel Eilio's been on the list for a few years. But no rush.
The cairn is basically destroyed, unfortunately. It makes Moel Siabod's seem positively intact.
Doesn't matter. It's where they placed it that counts.
True enough. Views were somewhat restricted due to cloud over the very summit. But good enough to see Ynys Mon, Mynydd Mawr, Y Garn (Moel Hebog one), etc. Plenty of other prehistoric burial places intervisible in other words.
Pretty dramatic photo that, looks a superb place.
Cheers Drew, the fort's certainly in a great situation.
