Love these two forts, are they near each other.
They are probably about 12 miles apart by road. Both easy enough to get to, though you do wonder if you're going the right way ! It seems to be the way in Cork & Kerry that you'll see a sign post leading you from the main road and off into the lanes and that will be the last sign you'll see until you hopefully chance upon whatever it is you're looking for !
Both well worth a visit !
