Beautifully shots pics as ever, shame the fort perhaps isn't up to the same standard :)
Must have entered the dizzy realms of 4,000 posts too.
With some two thirds destroyed this must have been some powerful enclosure in its time ... I don't know, in some ways these obscure remnants - swathed in 'Keep Out' signs - are more evocative than the Maiden Castles of this world.
