
Just a few metres south of the entrance gate to Tilquhillie Castle, in a gap in a dyke, stands this stone, regarded as a possible flanker from the former Tilquhillie Stone Circle. If so, it has clearly been moved from its original position.

Nice photo Les. I've been meaning to have a look at this place since reading about it in the crowns book. Parking looks a bit tricky round there?

Parking. Almost opposite the track to Tilquhillie Castle (about 20 metres to the east on the opposite side of the road) is what appears to be a rough forestry track leading into the trees. There's enough space on the verge, though a tad rough, to draw a car in off the track itself.
