Another of those moments... one of the lesser known Bronze Age skylines of Snowdonia viewed across The Migneint wilderness, south of Hafodyredwydd (above the Machno valley). Carnedd y Bachgen is sited upon the summit of Arenig Fach, brilliantly illuminated to left. Moel y Eglwys, the nearmost of the twin summits of Arenig Fawr [centre right], also boasts a large Bronze Age cairn and is additionally the location of a monument to brave USA airmen who died here during August 1943. Guess they literally entered the realm of warrior heroes....

A very well captured picture Mr G. Love the colours, and that falling rain really draws you in and makes you want to be there, walking through that bronze age landscape ...well it does me anyway :o)
Thanks Scubi, although 'staggering through that bronze age landscape' would be nearer the mark ..... heather and bog do not easy walking make.
Another terrific photo there. Needless to say I'm entirely in agreement with Scubi about wanting to be there.
Fab landscape photo.
Cheers,
Te.
