This (relatively) large cairn graces the otherwise brutally extreme summit plateau of 3,196ft Foel Grach.... why here? Perhaps the fact that the cairn is sited to overlook prehistoric settlement below to the north-west is all that need be said?

Jealous now, really need to get up to see this lot.
Wait for the right weather for these SC. They aint going anywhere...
True enough. The route is planned but the opportunity is still awaited.
Yeah, you had the fence line to guide you [should you have needed it] to Drum... but I wouldn't fancy my chances up here in mist one bit. Seriously.... I came up via Cwm Eigiau and Melynllyn, incidentally.
The hope is a loooong ridge walk Pen yr Ole Wen to Carnedd y Ddelw and the two stones car park (or the other way round). Needs organisation and good weather though. And enough daylight!
Out of my league now, but reckon you'd be OK as long as it's a one way walk. Bear in mind that the environs of Llewleyn are covered with rock which makes the descent towards Foel Grach difficult and tiring, particularly if the rock is wet. Otherwise the terrain to Foel Fras is good... you know the rest. It's been a while since I was on the main ridge and Postie was there in deep snow ... so you're on your own there, I'm afraid. Look forward to your report next year some time, then.
[PS. make sure you know your bearings off of Llewleyn in advance since I've found to my cost that mist is apt to come from nowhere on the Carneddau... literally out of a blue sky. Probably something to do with the thermals which have claimed many a light aircraft over the years].
Difficult to see it as out of your league after these pics. But all good advice, cheers - I won't be doing it on my own either.
You certainly won't.
