I was up on top of there on 21st October, a day of wind and grey sky. The "tumulus" on top is obvious, but quite low. Made my way back to the car over beautiful Gowbarrow.

Did you notice the trees growing horizontally, due to the wind?

Missed you by days then. Not close enough to see the trees, but it was certainly windy enough on Blencathra.
