The winter’s animal feed rests upon the defences of this ancient hillfort, an uneasy relationship, perhaps? Mother Wales provides a suitable backdrop, the skyline crowned by a myriad Bronze Age cairns upon Mynydd Caerau and The Werfa. All in a substantial, complex site. Well worth the effort.
