Thanks to your misc post..... although how it's been missed all these years I don't know.... an obvious stone circle to these eyes. What is not so obvious, but a possibility, I think, is a capstone and row a little way to the approx north up the ridge. I'll post images under the 'cairn' site and ask for comment later.
Well, you can thank Julian Heath, it was in his "Sacred Circles - Prehistoric Stone Circles of Wales", otherwise I'd still be none the wiser. I love the colours in your pics, that's the way I always think of Y Mynydd Du. Must get back out that way.
