There is 'something' about Castlerigg which does strange things to me! Whenever I see a photo it brings a smile to my face and a shiver down my spine. I have only been there once but it is an ambition of mine to watch the sun rise from Castlerigg one day. We all need our dreams!
Yes I agree Carl, the above photo was my very first view of it. The next day the sun came and the clouds chased shadows across the fells. I fell completely and unreservedly in love with place.
