| Visited 31.7.10. Whilst visiting Fognam Clump Barrow I 'happened upon' this site - I had no idea it was here! The site it is well worth visiting and is easily seen alongside the B4000 near Ashdown House. It is very reminiscent of the surviving fields of stones found around the Avebury area. Wow! Certainly gives you an idea of how the area would have looked when the prehistoric sites were being built. |
