The War Stone, October 2024.
The War Stone’s plinth, referencing the name as a corruption of Hoar Stone.
Definitely not prehistoric, but a nice bit of Stonehenge Brutalism from 1935. The grave of George William Manley, a Brother of the Ancient Order of Druids is close to the War Stone. Influenced by the trilithons of Stonehenge, but on a Spinal Tap scale.
September 2024, giving off mini-Mulfra vibes.
