Nice photo, nice site, starting to get the feeling if you get out of the car anywhere 20 miles west of Dublin your in walking distance of somewhere spectacular.
Possibly, maybe, but you’d have to dig a bit deeper, the Kildare plain and the midlands in general are a bit of a megalithic desert.
Yeah I know, I wish it was that easy. I wasn't trying to undermine the amount of time you put into researching and visiting these sites, more a case of awe at the vast number of different sites Ireland has to offer.
What with the days drawing in, long journeys to the west and north or south are off the agenda for the moment and I'm having to stay a bit closer to home. Thanks for your comments costa, always appreciated.
