For Belas Knap a walk from Winchcombe is maybe better (but more of an uphill). Cleeve Hill is fine access wise, although it does have a golf course on it, inevitably. I think you can pretty much drive to the top. A nice walk might be up from Cleeve Village, mooch round the hillfort, then across to Belas Knap. You could drop down to Winchcombe and get the bus back to Cleeve Village to pick up the car (nice pub there too). By your standards it's all quite easy. Let me know if you come!
That stone work is just fantastic. I need to visit.
You do. Also very close to Gloucestershire's highest point if you need more incentive.
I'd already checked that this afternoon when I saw your photo :-)
Is any time of year bad, access wise? OK walk from Cheltenham?

You can get to Winchcombe from Cheltenham Racecourse or Broadway via the Gloucester and Warwickshire Steam Railway. Stones and steam ..off you go : )
Lots of options and they all sound good :-)
Might have a go for this in the Spring.
Be lovely to meet up if we were around.
Very pleased that this happened as planned :)
Just a lovely day out, thanks tsc from the both of us :-)
Same here. Hope the rest of the trip is going well.
