Not entirely sure what your point is but speaking as one who volunteers at one of the National Trust's iconic sites I can say that whilst I have no objection to campers as such, those that decide to leave all their shit (literally, as well as complete tents plus other detritus) behind don't deserve the freedom to enjoy these places. Sorry if that's a bit uncool but when it's your job to clean it up you find yourself adopting a slightly more jaundiced viewpoint.
