| ..is the place to be. I've just come back from 3 weeks working in perthshire, and ended up spending most of the weekends in and around Aberdeen. The place is just unreal, you are constantly tripping over stones and circles in more ways than one. After Callanish this has to be THE place in Britain to go-buy Landranger 38 and mark off all the sites with a highlighter-the map will be GLOWING afterwards, which is how I felt when I came back. I managed about 20 sites which I've now written up to TMA and I think that of them all Sheldon is the one, with Nine Stanes running close. If you're wondering where to go next, wonder no longer!
